Getting the most from exhibiting at a trade show takes a lot more than just booking space and showing up. Take advantage of the Techzibit team’s education tracks and ‘go to school’ on our many years of experience exhibiting across the globe. There are many great trade show professionals out there but we know there are lots of you who could use some real help – yes…that was you we saw texting at the booth while prospects were left to wander away! Check out our articles, blogs, checklists and videos. Many are 100% free with premium content available for a small monthly subscription.

Exhibiting at a trade show is not for the faint hearted or budget challenged. The cost of a very basic 10′ x 10′ (3m x 3m) booth space with minimal ‘pipe and drape’ and a power outlet will set you back at least $10K – $12K, and that scales up fairly linearly as you look for larger space. This does not account for booth build, design and printing of graphics, rentals, advertising or Internet connectivity. The total cost starts mounting up and don’t forget staff travel, hotel and subsistence needs to be added on top.

The bottom line of this bottom line is that for most hi-tech companies the trade show budget is one of the larger marketing line items, and maximizing this investment takes effort, planning and training.

If you are new to the world of hi-tech exhibition halls, the staff at Techzibits can give you many tips and tricks and help you avoid classic pitfalls to ensure your company’s trade show attendance has you swinging happily from the vines, rather than drowning in quicksand! Your staff may be seasoned trade show veterans, but based on what we observe at every event we attend, we know they can always use a refresher.

Building trade show education into your planning should be an absolute MUST, so ‘Get Schooled’ by Techzibits and remember, when it comes to hi-tech trade shows it’s a jungle out there and natural selection is in play as only the fittest survive!
