Automation Technology Expo (ATX) Comes Back to the Midwest
The Automation Technology Expo will be held in Schaumburg, Illinois on October 15 and 16. The organizer, UBM Canon is proud to say the event is the best automation-assembly fest in the Midwest. ATX Midwest offers a close look at applications and technologies that are redefining manufacturing around the world. The event will feature the latest custom automation and assembly technologies, vision inspection systems, robotics, control hardware/software and much more.

What can you expect at ATX Midwest 2014

At Center Stage on October 15, Kurtis Smolar, a partner at Fox Rothschild LLP will speak on the topic ‘Get Funded.’ In the Product Teardown segment (Center Stage), Eric Doster working with Dozuki (a part of iFixit) will speak on ‘iPad Air Vs Microsoft Surface Pro 3.’ There will also be a speed networking event on the same day between 1 pm and 2.15 pm.
On October 16, during the Industry Insider segment, Lisa McTigue Pierce, Executive Editor at UBM Canon’s ‘Packaging Digest,’ will speak on the topic ‘Packages of the Year: Hot Ideas in Packaging.’ Eric Foster will later conduct a session on ‘iPhone 5s Vs Amazon Fire Phone.’ Sessions on Mobile Health, Healthcare Contracts and Legal Issues will also be held on the second day of the event.
Tech Theater is where you should be if you want to know how new technologies can be applied in your business. On the October 15, Revox Sterilization Solutions will be presenting and other presentations on the same day will focus on how manufacturers can strategically deploy cloud and mobile collaboration to improve their business. Later, there will be a presentation on ‘Lean/Six Sigma Manufacturing Under FDA Regulations. On October 16, there will be a presentation discussing the importance of system integration.
