NAB Show 2015 Highlights

The annual National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show that just finished in Las Vegas (Apr 11-16) is one of our favorites. While large shows (NAB had 103,000 attendees with 1789 exhibits spread over 30 acres!) tend to be a bit daunting, the new technology put on display every year is fascinating. While most of the show activity is focused on the broadcast and motion picture industries, the Zibiters like to spend some time looking at the DSLR camera announcements where continued improvements Read more [...]

Top 10 Hi-Tech U.S. Trade Shows

While these lists are great for promoting an event and can be useful for marketers planning their marketing programs, their utility stops there. The typical Top Read more [...]

NAB 2012 – Video Broadcasts Using Virtual Sets

TechMarketeers recently attended the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show in Las Vegas. Toward the end of the show, we had some time to walk around and see if there were any products that might be of interest to our clients or to marketers. Needless to say, if you use video in your marketing (and most of us do), there was a lot to see!  The theme of this year’s show was “Where Content Comes to Life” – something that should resonate with all marketers. One application in particular Read more [...]

The Great Content Shift – Ideas from NAB 2012

Like all large industry gatherings, NAB Show 2012 was busy with just under 1600 exhibitors showing their wares and announcing plenty of new products for the 90,000+ attendees to see. The annual National Association of Broadcasters event earns it boast as the world’s largest electronic media trade show and conference for broadcasters, digital media and entertainment professionals. This year’s show was actually bigger than last years with over 825,000 square feet of exhibit space for the attendees Read more [...]

NAB 2012 – What To Expect

NAB Show 2012 is just a couple of weeks away and I am working on my personal ‘must see’ list. With the focus on the Content Lifecycle (creation, management, commerce, distribution and delivery, consumption), there is always a great deal to see at NAB. The theme for this year’s event is The Great Content Shift. The explosive growth of the mobile market is causing and shift in demand for content ‘anytime, anywhere’ and users expecting a high quality experience no matter what device they Read more [...]
