CeBIT India 2014, New Perspectives in IT Business, A Bonanza for IT Companies and Industry Professionals
CeBIT India is the region’s top IT exposition and conference event. It was started by CeBIT- the world leader in business ICT and IT shows. The event will be held between November 12 and 14 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Center.
Keeping with the spirit of the most recent developments in the IT sector, the central theme for this year’s event is ‘New Perspectives in IT Business’.
CeBIT India is an opportunity for thought leaders from leading Indian IT companies and MNCs to come together on a common platform, meet and learn from each other, and understand how they can leverage their strengths better in the Indian IT/ITEs context.
There are six topic clusters at this year’s event. They are enterprise resource planning/data analysis, enterprise content management, IT infrastructure/data services, networks & business communication, mobile & web solutions, security & IT services.
+91 Startup Challenge to give a boost to entrepreneurial talent
Tech entrepreneurs and startups will get an opportunity to connect with venture capitalists, accelerators, mentors and other seasoned entrepreneurs through the +91 Startup Challenge. Five finalists will be given a chance to take their solution/product to CeBIT 2015, which will be held in Hanover, Germany. Participants of +91 Startup Challenge will also have an opportunity to network, interact, attract investment, get media coverage, attend workshops, meet mentors and showcase their products/services.
Keynote session by Dr. Vishal Sikka- the new CEO of Infosys
CeBIT India conferences will be a three track event. The center stage will host keynote sessions by thought leaders, industry captains and visionaries. The inaugural address will be delivered by R. Chandrasekhar, President- NASSCOM. RS Sharma, Secretary DeitY will also speak in this session.
Dr. Vishal Sikka, CEO of Infosys will deliver the keynote address on ‘software and the service industry- future’.
Marten Pieters, CEO at Vodafone India will speak on the Indian mobile telephony scene. Helmut Schutt, CIO, Daimler (Buses, Trucks and Vans) will speak on IT for success. Some of the other keynote speakers are Ms. Kumud Srinivasan, President of Intel India and Mark McDonald, MD Accenture.
At the Power Stage, participants can hear experts talk on subjects as diverse as Germany’s transformation into a Digital economy, Bangalore for IT, and how cloud can help transform a business.
The Innovation stage will include panel discussions on eCommerce, automobiles, BFSI, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Healthcare, and the Internet of Things.
