SPS IPC Drives is a leading exhibition and conference in Europe in the electric automation sector. It will be held for three days between November 25th and November 27th at Nuremberg, Germany. It is a great place to meet suppliers from the electric automation industry and get information on the latest trends, innovations and products in the sector. This is the 25th time the event is being held, so you can be sure that the organizers have something special planned for this year. SPS IPC Drives 2014 will cover all types of electric automation technology from complete systems to integrated solutions. The exhibitors are divided into 9 sectors such as control technology, drive components and systems, industrial software, sensor technology, industrial communication and more The organizers have also planned a series of presentations and lectures, to be held under the auspices of the Exhibition Forum. There will be many company & product presentations and panel discussions under this session. The panel discussion will be directed by industry associations and publishing houses. Exhibitors will also give presentations on new solutions and products for the visitors. Conference – the highlight of the event The Conference is going to be conducted parallel to the Exhibition Forum. It is one of the most important conferences in Germany, on drive and automation technology. Some of the best minds in the electric automation sector will speak at the conference on a range of relevant topics. It will bring design & development engineers, product managers and people from applied research academia together to discuss innovative applications, new technologies and find solutions to problems. There will be two keynote addresses on the second day. The first keynote address will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Stephan Wrobel from the Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems, Saint Augustin. It will be on ‘Big Data- opportunities and challenges in technical application’. The second keynote address will be on ‘unconventional drives from smart materials’. It will be delivered by Prof. Stefan Seelecke from the Capacity Building Center for Mechatronics and Automation, Saarbrücken, Germany. There will also be other sessions on safety & security, automation cloud, motion control, vibration dampening, diagnostics & monitoring, drive controls & inverters and others. A must-visit event for electrical automation professionals The event is wonderful opportunity for people in the electric automation industry to network, update their knowledge and meet suppliers from around the world. More than 60000 visitors came to SPS IPC 2013. Since this is the 25 year of the event, we expect an equivalent number to come this year also, if not more.
